home replacement windows

During our vacation in the Philippines, we visited my aunt’s house in the barrio in the province of Quezon. Every time I go there, some good and not-so-good memories are brought back.

My aunt and her husband built a new house there replacing that of my grandparents’. They sought the opinion of the carpenters about just renovating the house, but they were advised that they would be spending more. So they opted to just have a new one.

I still remember how my grandmother used to wake us up early in the morning to water the plants and clean the whole house. There were some times that I never wanted to go back there because it was very tiring to do those errands. But my mother explained to me that since my cousins were also doing those things during their childhood, we also had to do our part.

My aunt’s new house does not reflect any trace of our grandparents’ house we used to love…hmmm, and somehow hate. (Char! Laziness was constantly eating me up then.) It made me somewhat sad that all the memories were gone together with the old house. But since my aunt and her husband were really happy with her house, I think I should also be happy for them also.

Before we went back here, she asked me for some suggestions on how to make her humble abode more pleasant. There were so many clutters, and my uncle’s truck accessories were scattered everywhere! We even shopped for some home decors in Divisoria. It was a lot of fun, and it gave me this wishful thinking of having our own house in the near future.

I noticed that her windows need to be replaced. She used the old windows of my grandparents’ house, but they don’t look good in the new one. I recommended a reliable contractor for home replacement windows. I told her that if she would be needing some help in house repairs, she should contact a very dependable home improvement contractor and not just rely on anybody. Because this way, she can be so sure that the repairs done to her home will not cause them further damages.
