true confections

This show in GMA Life TV is giving me so much inspiration to try baking!

I have tried doing simple baking recipes. And I am so happy to tell everyone that as an amateur baker, I am doing quite well. I have been reading a lot about baking, trying to acquire some techniques and some recipes I can make use of. It is getting so exciting each day.

So far, I have already baked banana cake, choco fudge brownies, cassava cake, and… just yesterday… macaroons! The kids loved them all!

I hope I can continue with this newly discovered passion, baking that is. The same thing with cooking, I want to develop my potentials in this craft. Oh, my! Maybe I should get insurance quote should I eat lots of sweets for the rest of my life.

financial matters

If you regularly keep yourself abreast with what’s happening around you, you will notice how hard life has become for all of us because of the recession that is currently taking place. The sad part is the ones who are greatly affected by the global economic crisis are those who have less in life. Now, even if they work hard to feed their families, they can do nothing but to accept the fate laid to them and hope that tomorrow things will be a lot better.

How do we cope with this financial catastrophe we are all facing?

We all really have to be wise about money for we are so unsure about the things to come. We should try saving up as much as we can. Just for the mean time, we should avoid those unnecessary spending. It really is so hard to avoid what you’ve been enjoying for so long, but a little sacrifice will not hurt. Besides, it is for our own families. Quit vices! I advised my father to stop buying those cigars online. It is not only for financial reasons, but for his health as well.

We also have to keep ourselves updated about how we can improve our financial status. I have seen this site of Financial Advisor Services in the internet. I am not really familiar with it, but I am trying to figure out how it can be of help to us.

blogger must have’s

It’s not yet that long since I have started with my blogging endeavors. I remember when I was still a newbie, I was asking tons of questions to those friends I’ve met in the blogging world. I am so glad to have found a lot of them who were so willing to give a hand to the poor newbie blogger in need. But up to now, I still have a lot of questions when it comes to blogging.

When you are planning to enter the enjoyable-but-so-taxing world of blogging, make sure you have the following:

A lot of patience
You won’t reap your rewards in blogging overnight. It takes a lot of time and effort before you finally see the results of your hard work. If you don’t have enough patience, you might end up feeling so frustrated. You must also have this heated blanket by your side should you need comfort. char!

Persistence
There are so many things to learn about the comings and goings in blogging. The information you need will never just come to you, you have to chase for them. If you are not persistent enough, you’ll never gain success.

Passion
In everything, you’ll never succeed if you’re not loving what you’re doing.

Focus
Sometimes, blogging can be so demanding especially if you have some other responsibilities to fulfill. So make sure you plan everything well.

getting even

Sometimes I hate how other people are taking advantage of others’ weaknesses and vulnerability. They just do not care if they hurt other people as long as they get what they want and what will make them happy. It is easy to achieve satisfaction at the expense of other people, but let me just remind everyone that the return on investment of hurting other people will never be rewarding.

So it’s high time for everyone to stand firm on their own two feet and fight for their rights. Too much nobility will never harvest positive outcome on your part.

I have heard of some railroad employees who suffered from some work-related injuries but never received anything even minimal assistance for the harm their jobs caused them. This is just so disgusting! They were trying to work hard for their employers who turned out to be not so concerned with their welfare. These employers need to learn their lessons well. That is the job of the rail road accident lawyer!

I am very much interested to work philly, but things like these scare the hell out of me. I do not want to work for an employer who has no concern for the workers.
